Intelligent querying

Project Intelligence turns your project-management system from a passive data store into an active conversational partner. You can talk to the project in natural language, getting precise answers to complex questions about the state of things.

Query capabilities​

The system can handle a wide range of queries: from simple facts to in-depth analysis.

1. Status and progress queries​

Instead of manually checking dozens of tasks, you can ask:

  • "What stage is the development of the payment module at right now?"
  • "How many issues from sprint #15 have not yet been moved to the 'Done' status?"
  • "Are there any tasks that have been stuck in the 'In Review' status for more than three days?"

2. Finding dependencies and blockers​

The AI analyzes the links between tasks and reveals hidden problems:

  • "Which issues block the completion of the epic 'Payment gateway integration'?"
  • "If we move the deadline for issue X, which other issues will be affected?"

3. Analyzing ownership and resources​

Quick understanding of who is responsible for what:

  • "Who on the team is currently the most loaded by the number of active tasks?"
  • "Who is the primary owner of the API documentation?"

How to get the best result​

For the most accurate answers, it is recommended to use the following principles:

  • Be specific: instead of "How's it going?", ask "What is the current status of implementing the requirements of section 3.2?".
  • Indicate the context: if the project has several similar modules, clarify which one you mean.
  • Use follow-up questions: if an answer seems incomplete, ask the AI to "expand on item #2" or "find additional confirmations in the comments".

Iterative refinement process​

If a query is too ambiguous, Project Intelligence will not guess. Instead, the agent:

  1. Notes the uncertainty.
  2. Asks you one clarifying question to narrow the search.
  3. After your answer, provides the final, verified result.
