Working documents

Project files — the charter, scope, requirements, protocols, and other documents (formats MD, TXT, ADF) — open in the same editor as Confluence pages. That means the same review mechanics apply to documents: the agent proposes changes as marked blocks, and you accept, reject, or add your own.

Where documents live​

The system distinguishes two levels:

  • Session documents — working files of the current conversation: drafts the agent prepares with you. They appear in the context pane and as link "pills" in the chat.
  • Project documents — durable files in the project workspace: what remains between sessions and takes part in indexing the knowledge base.

A finished session document can be promoted to the project — after that it becomes part of the project's permanent knowledge base that the agent searches.

User flow​

  1. Creation. On your request (or a skill, e.g. /initiate, /scope, /requirements), the agent prepares a document: "Prepare the project charter", "Draft the scope statement". The file appears in the context pane and in the chat as a link.
  2. Open. Clicking the file in the chat or the context pane opens it in the editor.
  3. Reviewing the agent's edits. Changes the agent makes to the document are marked the same way as in Confluence: add, remove, accept, reject.
  4. Saving. You save the file in its original format (Markdown or ADF) or "Save as…" in another format or location — in the session or in the project.
  5. Keeping the knowledge base fresh. Saving a project document automatically refreshes the knowledge-base index (with a delay of a few minutes), and the new fragments become available to search.

When to use it​

  • Living management documents: charter, scope statement, risk and requirement registers that the agent keeps current as the project evolves.
  • Handing off results: a draft assembled in a conversation becomes a formatted file you can take out of the system.
  • Working on specifications: long documents where the agent proposes edits point by point and you control each one.

Limitations​

  • Only text formats can be opened in the editor: MD, TXT, and ADF. Other formats (PDF, DOCX, etc.) are available to the system for reading and search, but not for collaborative editing.
  • Promoting a document to the project is a deliberate action: the agent does not publish session drafts to the project without your decision.
